Punch tells the gripping story of Jacob Dunne, a teenager from The Meadows, Nottingham, whose search for excitement one Saturday night ends in devastating consequences. After prison, Jacob is left trying to make sense of his life — until he meets Joan and David, the parents of James, whose death changed everything. What follows is a deeply moving journey of accountability, forgiveness and the possibility of change.
Inspired by a true story, Punch is an emotional and thought-provoking play that explores hope, humanity and second chances.
Content warning: This production includes strong language and references to violence, death, bereavement, alcohol and substance misuse, and mental health. It also features strobe and flashing lights, sudden loud noises and theatrical smoke.
