Bonfire Night, otherwise known as Guy Fawkes Day, is almost here! Get ready for a celebration of bonfires, firework displays, sparklers and more.

What is Bonfire Night? 

Celebrated on November 5th, Bonfire Night goes back to when a group of men (including Guy Fawkes) tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament in London, but failed. So the King's survival was celebrated with bonfires in celebration.

Nowadays, Bonfire Night is all about bringing the community together, firework shows and enjoying an Autumn evening with friends.

Drone Show: Nottingham City of Legends | 5 November

📍Forest Recreation Ground, Gregory Boulevard, Forest Fields, NG7 6HB

A 20-minute production, 250 synchronised drones, legendary characters and iconic history fill Nottingham's sky. There will be 2 showings - the early show starting at 6:30pm and the late show starting at 9pm. Alongside the display, there will be a range of food and drink options to enjoy! 

Nottingham Street Food X Fireworks Night | 6-8 November

📍Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, Bridgford Road, Nottingham, NG2 6AG

Each night features a dazzling fireworks display set to music, an unbeatable line-up of delicious street food and plenty of entertainment. Choose from Ibiza Classics on Friday night, a Night at the Movies on Saturday or a host of Family Favourites such as Let It Go on Sunday. Buy tickets here.

Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre | 7 November

Head to Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre for their Fireworks Extravaganza and enjoy an unforgettable evening filled with all the sights of a traditional bonfire night! Gates open at 4:30pm with the fireworks display starting at 7:30pm. Get your tickets.

The Garage Chilwell | 7 November

A Garage Chilwell classic, featuring fire pits, hog roasts, street food, cocktails, craft beers, live music and a great atmosphere! The event runs from 5pm until 10pm with FREE entry!
