The Community Engagement Team are on hand to help.

Our team focuses on helping students adjust and feel comfortable living off campus. We aim to help you learn how to keep your property safe, become practised in local recycling methods and be a good neighbour. 

A few of our top tips to remember when you move in: 

• Meet your next-door neighbour! Being able to recognise people and say hi will really benefit your time living in the community  
• Make always locking your doors a habit, even when you’re in 
• Check your council’s recycling practices (in Nottingham City, green bins are your general waste bin not your recycling bin!)
