The University have invested in Inpost, Amazon and Royal Mail lockers, so you can choose a location and time to collect your deliveries that suits you.
Having your parcels delivered to lockers is the quickest and safest way for them to get to you. Here are some instructions to help:
InPost and Royal Mail Lockers
If you are purchasing items online, please select a parcel location during the checkout process.
To use the Inpost lockers, please select the ‘click and collect’ delivery option at checkout, and choose a locker of your choice.
Once your item is in the locker, you will receive a notification with a retrieval code. Scan or input the code at the locker to release your parcel.
Amazon Lockers
Select your locker of choice during the checkout process.
Add this locker to your address book, and choose it as your delivery address
Once your item is in the locker, you will receive a notification with a retrieval code. Scan or input the code at the locker to release your parcel.
Oversized Items, and items from suppliers not supported by Inpost, Amazon or Royal Mail networks
If you order an item and find it is too large for a locker, or the lockers on campus aren’t an option at checkout, continue to use your Hall address and the courier will deliver to the University mailroom, where you will be able to collect it once we have notified you by email.
Where possible, please always select a parcel locker as your preferred choice, as there will be a delay in sorting parcels at the mailroom
Please remember to ALWAYS USE YOUR HALL as your address; this will avoid any deliveries being refused by the mailroom team.
Parcels and letters sent from or to Friends and Family.
Friends and family can send you items and letters, and vice versa, through the Inpost locker network. Download the app, pay for postage online, add your delivery/Halls postcode and select a locker location suitable for collection and delivery. Then, drop the parcel into the locker; no label is required.
Alternatively, parcels and post can be sent via Royal Mail. Please use your Hall address and postcode for delivery. Mail will either be available to collect from the Mailroom or Welcome Points.
