Ever wondered what it’s like to carve stone?
Ever wondered what it’s like to carve stone like a true sculptor? This hands-on workshop is the perfect place to start! You’ll discover the essential tools and techniques used in traditional stone carving and create your own small relief sculpture to take home at the end of the session.
Guiding you through the process is expert stone carver Alan Micklethwaite, who brings over 30 years of experience – from restoring historic cathedrals to producing striking contemporary artworks. Alan will share his knowledge, tips and creative inspiration to help you bring your design to life.
No experience? No problem! This friendly, beginner-level workshop is all about giving it a go, learning new skills and enjoying the satisfaction of creating something unique with your own hands.
