Join us on Sunday 20 September 2026 for a walking tour through Beeston, finishing at The Garage Chilwell – giving you the chance to discover some of the best places to eat, shop, socialise, explore and have fun right on your doorstep.

As we make our way through Beeston, ResX will show you some of our favourite local spots, including places to grab food and coffee, supermarkets and useful shops, great places to meet friends and socialise, and some of the local sights and hidden gems you might otherwise miss.

Whether you're looking for your new favourite brunch spot, somewhere to grab your weekly shop, a cosy café, a great place to eat or somewhere to hang out with friends, Beeston has loads to discover. 🍕☕🛍️

Our walk will take us towards The Garage Chilwell, one of the area's coolest hidden gems.

Once home to Barton Transport’s old bus garages, this vibrant space has been transformed into a buzzing weekend destination packed with independent traders, local makers, fresh food producers, speciality coffee and loads more.

With up to 50 traders in one day, there’s plenty to explore, whether you’re looking for unique finds, tasty street food, a lazy brunch, incredible desserts or somewhere to chill with a coffee. ☕🍔🍰

You can also discover the hidden courtyard and beer garden, tucked away just off the High Street – the perfect place to relax, meet new people and soak up the atmosphere.

The Garage Chilwell hosts something different every weekend, from urban markets and street food events to live music, sports screenings and stand-up comedy. Best of all, entry is completely free! 🎉

Please make sure you arrive at the West Entrance of University Park by 10:45am. We’ll set off together at 11:00am sharp for our walk through Beeston.
