University Park is our biggest campus and is home to some of our most iconic buildings, loads of green space and 12 halls of residence.
The campus is home to many academic buildings, research facilities, halls of residence, sports centres, and cultural venues that cater to the diverse needs and interests of the university community.
The campus is divided into several zones that correspond to different faculties and disciplines, such as arts, law, social sciences, science, engineering, medicine, and health sciences. Each zone has its own distinctive features and facilities that reflect the nature and culture of its subject area. For example, the arts zone has the Lakeside Arts Centre, which hosts various exhibitions, performances, and workshops throughout the year; the science zone has the Physics Building, which houses the world’s first liquid helium liquefier; and the engineering zone has the Advanced Manufacturing Building, which showcases cutting-edge technologies and innovations.
The campus is also well-connected to the city centre and other parts of Nottingham by various modes of transport, such as buses, trams, trains, and bikes.
