One of the perks of being a student is having access to various catering outlets on campus. Whether you need a snack to keep you going or a meal to share with your mates, these foodie destinations have something for everyone.
The University has cafes and bars on three main campuses: University Park, Jubilee, and Sutton Bonington. There are also cafes in the Medical School and Nottingham Lakeside Arts.
University Park
On University Park, there are 16 cafes and one bar, offering a variety of food and drink options, from sandwiches and salads to hot meals and snacks. Some restaurants and bars are located in the halls of residence, such as Cavendish Cafe and Echo@Derby, offering a range of cuisines to cater to diverse dietary preferences.
Others are in academic buildings, such as Coates Cafe, Trent café, and Monica Partridge Pod.
There are cafes in the libraries, such as George Green Library Cafe and Hallward Library Cafe. The University also has one campus bar, Echo@Derby, where you can enjoy cocktails, mocktails, and other drinks alongside some appetising light bites with your mates.
Jubilee Campus
Jubilee Campus has four cafes that serve hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, salads, cakes, and pastries. The cafes are Aspire Cafe, Terrazzo Café, Atrium, and SNG.
They are all located in the campus's main buildings, such as the Amenities, Exchange, and Advanced Manufacturing buildings.

Kosher on campus
This year, we are delighted to expand our food options by offering kosher food to our Jewish students in our Halls of Residence.
Partnering with the local Chabad of Nottingham, Rabbi Mendy and his wife Brocha have set up a commercial kitchen on their home grounds. Mike Lear (Food and Beverage Manager), along with Chef Ashley Collishaw, are working with Brocha's recipes and preparing Kosher food once a week for our Halls.
We have expanded the Kosher food offer to the PuriTea concept at the Portland Food Court. PuriTea is our new in-house brand offering delicious speciality hot and cold teas. We were runners-up in the UK Udine Food Awards with PuriTea, which sells freshly decorated Do'Nuts, homemade subs, salads, and a selection of Kosher retail lines. Our next step will be introducing some of Brocha's Kosher recipes at PuriTea.
