Ever fancied giving rap a go? Got bars in your head but never had the chance to put them down? Or maybe you’re more into poetry, beatboxing or just making some noise with your mates?

Join ResX and the legendary Ty Healy (Tyrone the Healer) for a creative evening celebrating Black History Month through music, words, rhythm and self-expression.

Ty is a well-known figure in Nottingham’s hip-hop and spoken-word scene, bringing together freestyle rap, storytelling, poetry and beatboxing in a way that’s energetic, accessible and seriously fun.

Whether you’re already spitting bars or have absolutely zero experience, this session is for you. Come along, get involved, experiment with words and beats, and maybe discover a talent you didn’t know you had!

 ⚠️ Important Booking Information

 Although the session is FREE, places are limited and we want to make sure everyone gets the opportunity to take part.

If you book a place but can no longer attend, you must cancel through UniHub at least 24 hours before the session.

Failure to cancel within 24 hours, or simply not turning up, will result in a £20 charge.

So, if you grab a place, please make sure you can attend! 💪
