Join us in the hall common space for a relaxed, creative evening of crafting and storytelling! During this hands-on session, you’ll learn about the symbolic meanings behind materials like cowrie shells, trade beads, and metalwork, and explore how these traditions live on in modern culture. You’ll have the opportunity to design and craft your own culturally inspired piece of jewellery (such as waist beads, beaded bracelets, or shell pendants) to keep, all while getting to know your fellow hall mates.
