Unlimited access to sports equipment and pods!

PlayMade has just launched a major rollout at Nottingham with PlayPods available across our campuses and halls of residence, providing students with free, unlimited access to sports equipment and games across 23 locations on campus!

The PlayMade app works by mapping out public sports zones and placing physical 'pods' directly on-site, allowing you to unlock sports and recreational gear for free using your phone.

What is available?

Depending on which of the 23 campus spots you visit, you can unlock and use:

• Tennis rackets and basketballs for the courts
• Pool cues, ping pong bats and table tennis equipment for indoor sports
• PlayStation controllers and entertainment setups in halls
• Items including steamers and community items meant to lower the cost of student socialising

How to register

Download the App 📱

Log in using your university email (@nottingham.ac.uk) via the Android or iOS app.

Locate a Pod 📍

Use the app's map function to find one of the 23 pods across the University Park, Jubilee or residential areas.

Unlock & Play 🎾

Scan to access the equipment instantly, play your match, and return it when you are done.
